Fundraising Opportunity / Update on 2020 Fees

Greetings to all Comets players/parents of players,

Fundraising Opportunity via Fee Donation

The Comets Committee would like to advise that Netball SA board has approved a 50% reduction in Netball SA fees for all players during winter the 2020 season due to the reduced length of the season.

Netball SA fees are incorporated into the Club Registration Fees and are paid to Netball SA in a lump sum payment via the Hills Netball Association (HNA).

Given the reduced potential for fundraising activities this season due to COVID related restrictions, we would like to request that those who are willing, donate their Netball SA fee reduction ($16 per GO, $30 per Junior and $35 per Senior player) to the Club.

This donation would go directly towards offsetting the cost of recently purchased large weatherproof bags for each team; coaching equipment; and potentially the purchase of a second blower vac for the Club.

Entry into Comets-only Raffle

All players who donate their Netball SA fee reduction to the Comets will go into the draw (1 entry per player) of the Comets-only raffle:

1st Prize:
1-tonne of redgum, delivered locally (pending availability)
Stirling Woodyard (value $445)

2nd Prize:
3-month gym membership (includes key tag and start-up fees)
24 Fit Stirling (value $370)

3rd Prize:
Beerenberg gift basket
Beerenberg (value $75)

Presidents Bonus Prize:
Comets Essentials Gift Pack (1 Xs Comets umbrella, blanket, beanie and scarf)
